Introduction – How It All Began

EVENTS BY Cassidy-McCleans became a reality after planning our own wedding in August 2023. Like most couples, we broke our day down into different sections and really thought about how our guests would feel at each stage of the celebration. From the ceremony to the drink's reception, right through to the evening party, we carefully planned what we could add to each part of the day to create a wedding that both us and our guests would truly remember.

During the planning process, we quickly realised there were several elements we would have loved to include – experiences, features and ideas that simply weren’t available across Northern or Southern Ireland at the time. That’s where we began to identify a genuine gap in the market.

Alongside this, we experienced first-hand how challenging it was to manage multiple suppliers, each with different payment schedules, terms and conditions, and communication styles. It planted the seed for something bigger – a one-stop shop where couples could find most of what they want and need for their wedding day, all under one roof. We fell in love with the planning process, saw a clear opportunity in the industry, and decided to take the plunge.

Beyond décor and entertainment, we can also provide your wedding cake, Dutch pancakes for your drink's reception, content creation to capture those behind-the-scenes moments, and your evening DJ service.

Couples are then free to choose the suppliers that are most personal to them – such as their venue, photographer, videographer and celebrant – while trusting us to manage everything else seamlessly. A Personal, Hands-On Approach

From your initial enquiry right through to your wedding day, we are fully hands-on. We personally carry out setup on the day and check in with couples around eight weeks before their wedding to ensure we have everything we need to plan their day to perfection.

If our couples need us, we’re always just a phone call, email or message away. When planning feels overwhelming, our role is to reassure, guide and remind couples that everything is under control.

Looking to the future, we are excited about the continued growth of EVENTS BY Cassidy McCleans. One of our goals is to open our own showroom, allowing couples to visit us in person, see our offerings on display, and feel inspired while planning their day.

We have also launched our bespoke floral offering and will continue to source and introduce new, exciting products to the Irish wedding market – always with the aim of enhancing the wedding experience.
